The "Cineforum San Paolo", Lido of Este, a cultural association that adheres to ' ANCCI (National Association of Italian Film circles) and to ' ACEC (Catholic Cinema Exhibitors' Association), is pleased to announce the opening of his business is running a series of films and documentaries dedicated to the theme Environmental protection and social commitment, in collaboration with Legambiente of Comacchio.
The first event is Sunday next April 18: Report of the episode will be shown, common Evil (2009), a journalistic investigation on urban sprawl and land consumption in the regions of Lazio, Lombardia and Veneto.
For the second round, Sunday, May 2, is provided for the movie by Marco Tullio Giordana, The Hundred Steps (2000), the work of civil commitment is that the fight against the Sicilian mafia through the history of Peppino Impastato.
The third date, Sunday, May 30, we will present Hands Over the City (1963) by Francesco Rosi, film denounces politics, winning the Golden Lion at Venice, gave rise to several controversies.
Finally, Monday, June 14, will be the turn of the documentary produced by WWF and Legambiente Parma Parma, threatened Soil (2009), dedicated to the use of agricultural land in the so-called Food Valley, Parma's plain that presents itself to the world as the capital of Italian 'food.
For the first meeting next Sunday we will have the honor to make a connection via Skype Michael Good, an author of the report The common evil, which will introduce the screening.
Admission is free and allows members to bear card (the cost of the card, valid for one year's, is 15 €). E 'can maintain membership in the parish of Lido Este programming in the evenings.

After two months off "media" group on the parish of St. Paul Defence of the pine forests of the Lidi Este and plug for the edification considered appropriate to report on the latest developments. Recalling that the petition sponsored by the parish has collected 4100 signatures to date, we take stock on the thorny issue of landscape obligations enshrined in the Act Galasso, in view of the fact that recently the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage of Ravenna was taken with a great opening in this regard.

On October 7, 2009, our press, the result of the investigations and calculations, stressed upon the entry into force of Law 431/85 were satisfied - unlike what is suggested by the province - the conditions of application of the constraint on the scenic pine forest Via Giorgione and wooded area surrounding the church of San Paolo.
In a public meeting of the parish and Legambiente Comacchio with the technicians of the Province and the City, 16 November 2009, the architects Bedosti bags and show that for the above-mentioned areas there are conditions for the existence of the bond landscape according to the Law 431/85 (Legislative Decree today. 42/04) is also given a brief written statement in which it is articulated reading of the normative references. The parish group intervenes in the press on November 29 to urge local authorities to respond promptly to the notice given by the experts, 7 December to ask the municipality of Comacchio to verify, as of now, if the fall in parts of the pine tissue urban to 1985 did not have the characteristics of the areas A and B. Of December 14 is the appeal to all councilors as to assess the risks posed by building permits issued in the absence of the investigation of areas of constraint. Assessment, finally, unnecessarily raised by the group during the second session of the Committee of Inquiry to advise on the pine forests of the Lydians, on 1 February 2010.
Now, despite the municipal administration of Comacchio has denied the existence of the bond and decided not to carry out the investigation, we have two important positive signs. The first comes from Emilia Romagna and dates in early February, with the answer councilor in the planning and spatial development Gian Carlo Muzzarelli, which, while excluding administrative violations, he concludes: "it is considered that we should take into account the environmental and landscape value and the evident that the areas in question [...] changed over time as the Government is committed to urge the City Council to proceed in its implementation of the new PSC to reconsider the choices made, re-evaluating the areas, and possibly also providing forms equalizing against individuals involved ". It 'a few days ago, finally, the letter of the Superintendence for Architectural Heritage and Landscape in Ravenna addressed in the Province of Ferrara and Comacchio that shows how the demands made by the church group had to be kept at least at most about, "Superintendent in the opinion of this issue remains an open question, in this case, exclusion of the protection of scenic areas forests protected by law pursuant to Art. 142 of Legislative Decree no. 42/04 [...] Do not show clearly explained if the September 6, 1985 in the areas covered by the instruments were either not classified as urban areas homogeneous B ".
