As a group for the parish of St. Paul defense of the pine forests of Este and Lido Spina, we update the signatories of our petition and the citizens of the territory on the current situation, in reference to a letter recently published in the press, some suspected members of the Committee, which denounced the silence fell on each other following the results of municipal elections.

The festival, which began after the elections and ended June 14, also intended to invite the public to rekindle the debate about the destination of the pine forests of our shores. The initiative, in collaboration with Legambiente, has been regularly advertised in the local press, as well as on the pages of our blog. - the hard work of communication in the press which has been implemented in the last months of last year, took place at the meetings held with municipal and provincial administrations and the first killing of trees. In the current year, in view of the delicate pre-election time, there has been limited to only two actions: the last to account for an important measure of the Superintendent of Ravenna which he considers "open" the question of landscape obligations, and to remember the stress given by the Emilia-Romagna to proceed in its implementation of the new PSC to reconsider and appreciation of these areas; - the current position of the group is awaiting the action of the new administration. The new mayor of Comacchio has already been asked for a meeting to address this question again and pine forests are in fact orchestrating the date in those days. - the church group, as well as keep in touch with Bologna Consultants planners that have accompanied and supported the study of legislation in recent months, with some lawyers are now considering the situation in the woodland surrounding the church.

Update on the dunes of the Lido Este Province 
The good news had already been disclosed in the papers of Ferrara, 19 May 2010.
With a little 'delay gives the result of "negotiations" and we have provided official documents.
The meeting between the President of the Province of Ferrara Marc Zappaterra and the Committee for the Defence of the dunes of the Lido of Este, which took place May 18, 2010, was resolved positively (the committee had raised the issue of the environmental impact of the waterway Ferrara-Comacchio coastal environment), the Province has in fact agreed to the comments of the citizens group that had called for the preservation of the dunes and the biologist Carlos Armour, a spokesman for the committee, said it welcomed the changes that will then be made to the draft enlargement of the mouth of the harbor channel.
